BACKPACKING TRIP – RISHIKESH – UTTRAKHAND (2D/1N)

Escape the chaotic city lines of the capital for a high-octane, weekend getaway to Rishikesh, uniquely crafted for adrenaline-seekers, friends, and active families. Leaving before dawn ensures you escape Delhi’s traffic bottlenecks and watch the plains smoothly transform into the towering, pine-scented foothills of Uttarakhand. Traveling via a private vehicle gives your group total freedom to stash extra dry clothes, blast your favorite road-trip playlists, and transition smoothly from highway cruising straight to the riverbanks.

Your base camp for adventure is Shivpuri, a tranquil riverside hub located just upstream from Rishikesh city center. Blessed with expansive sandy beaches, dramatic rocky gorges, and thick jungle canopies, it is the undisputed launchpad for white-water rafting in India. Here, your group will trade city clothes for life jackets and paddles, ready to face the untamed energy of the holy Ganges. The sheer thrill of navigating world-class rapids together creates an unforgettable bonding experience full of splashes, laughter, and high-fives.

After conquering the river, the energy shifts beautifully as you head down into the spiritual heart of Rishikesh in the evening. The bustling pathways around the iconic Lakshman Jhula area offer a vibrant sensory experience, where the air is thick with the scent of incense and echoes of temple bells.

Your adventure transitions seamlessly into deep spiritual heritage on the second morning as your caravan moves down to the ancient holy city of Haridwar. Known as the gateway to the gods, Haridwar presents a stark, beautiful contrast to Rishikesh with its sprawling ghats and deep devotional energy.
