This itinerary pairs two of Rajasthan’s most distinct personalities in a single short trip: Udaipur, the City of Lakes, romantic, regal, and unhurried, and Mount Abu, the state’s only hill station, perched in the cool green heights of the Aravalli Range.

Udaipur was founded in 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh II, who chose this site beside Lake Pichola to rebuild the Mewar Kingdom after the fall of Chittorgarh.

What followed was four centuries of royal construction, palaces, temples, ghats, and gardens layered so densely across the landscape that almost every corner of the old city holds something worth stopping for.

It is a city where history is not kept in museums but lived in, walked through, and reflected in the water at every turn.

Mount Abu offers a different mood entirely.

At 1,220 metres, it sits well above the desert floor, forested and cool, with its ancient Dilwara Jain Temples considered among the finest examples of marble craftsmanship anywhere in the world.

The contrast between an afternoon at the ghats of Udaipur and a morning at the temples of Mount Abu is precisely what makes this combination work so well as a single trip.

DAY 0 – GURUGRAM TO UDAIPUR | OVERNIGHT JOURNEY

• The overnight drive to Udaipur covers approximately 670 km and takes around 10–12 hours, depending on road and traffic conditions.

The trip begins from Gurgaon.

The designated boarding point will be shared before departure. It is generally IFFCO Chowk Metro Station or another nearby landmark for easy access from both Delhi and Gurgaon.

Take the Yellow Line and get down at IFFCO Chowk Metro Station.

By Road

Gurgaon is well connected with Delhi, Noida, and Faridabad by road.

Please keep a buffer of approximately 30 minutes for traffic.

• Booking advances and deposits are strictly non-refundable.
• No interest will be paid on deposited amounts.
• Once a booking is confirmed, the entire booking amount will be forfeited in case of:

  • Early departure from the trip
• No refund will be provided for unused transport, meals, or sightseeing services.

Batch Operations

• A minimum of 10 participants is required for WravelOn to operate a batch independently.
• If the minimum group size is not achieved, WravelOn reserves the right to merge participants with a verified local travel operator.

Force Majeure

WravelOn shall not be held responsible for delays or cancellations due to:

If a trip is cancelled before departure because of natural disasters, a Travel Voucher equal to the amount paid will be issued.

The voucher will remain valid for 365 days, subject to availability.

No cash refund will be provided.

Additional expenses arising from unforeseen circumstances, such as hotel extensions, medical emergencies, or alternate transportation, shall be borne by the traveller.

Liability

Guests are solely responsible for their luggage and personal belongings.
